Lazy Bear Hideaway is a cozy cabin in the heart of Cherry Log Mountain, a popular destination spot for Blue Ridge Vacationers. Lazy Bear Hideaway is a 17 minute drive to downtown Ellijay and a 10 minute drive to downtown Blue Ridge. So, you and your family may enjoy the many accommodations that Blue Ridge has to offer, whether you would like to relax with the family tubing down the Cartecay river in Ellijay or eating at some of the finest restaurants in Blue Ridge, there is something for everyone. While staying at Lazy Bear Hideaway, you will enjoy all of the amenities that cabin has to offer. If you are a coffee lover, we have a coffee bar with Keurig or Nespresso maker, so feel free to grab a coffee and watch the sun rise on our patio with breathtaking views of the Blue ridge mountain. We also provide books and games so that you and your guests can lay down comfortably on the outdoor swing bed while enjoying nature and its quiet times. We have a blackstone where you and your guests can cook up your favorite breakfast and eat on our indoor or outdoor patio table. The activities in our cabin are limitless, starting with the outdoors, you and your guests can enjoy our designated outdoor play area where you can putt on our putting green or play around the cornhole all the while enjoying the mountain views. We do offer a yoga mat with workout bands so that you can get your exercise done while at the cabin. A short walk to Benton Mackaye trail is available from the cabin where the entrance point is only a short walk away. Enjoy sitting in our hot tub and enjoy the mountain view or sit out on our adirondack chairs over a fire pit. Inside our cabin, it is equipped with a 100in movie projector room with surround sound, a pool table that converts into an air hockey table and a ping pong table, two arcade style games, and a video game console on a 65 in wall mounted smart TV. We have board games and books for everyone. In the kitchen, we offer a refrigerator with ice cubes, electric stove, oven, dishwasher, coffee bar, an airfryer, pots, pans, and utensils. The upstairs has two bedrooms, one with a king size bed with a closet that stores the iron and board, extra sheets and comforters. The other bedroom has a queen size bed with the blue ridge mountain view. Both bedrooms are equipped with a smart tv and closet. There are two full size showers, vanity, toilet, extra towels with a make up towel, and a blow dryer under the sink. The lower level has a utility room with washer and dryer, first aid kit, and a fire extinguisher. The lower level has a sofa bed in the living area that sleeps two, a trundle bed for kids or teens that sleeps two as well. The movie room also has a pull out sofa bed, but it is not recommended for guests to sleep in.
Other Details to Note
GPS will guide you to Joann Sisson road take a right after the railroad tracks. Although it might be a slight longer ride, I suggest to take the left and then take a right on Mountain Road. The property will be on the left.
